STARTING WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 29, 2025
Keen to start a novel but not sure you can stay the course? Or, maybe you’re feeling stuck in your story and don’t know how to move on. This program will help you plan your time, set your pace, maintain momentum, and troubleshoot issues - all under the guidance of award winning author and writing teacher, Nicole Hayes.
The program includes five online seminars that cover set up and planning your process, tackling the midpoint slump, maintaining pace, and next steps for how to sustain momentum going forward.
Online seminars take place on the following Wednesdays from 7pm:
SESSION 1: 29 OCT - SET UP: 7-9PM (2 HRS)
SESSION 2: 19 OCT - WARM UP: 7-8PM
SESSION 3: 12 NOV - CATCH UP - 7-8PM
SESSION 4: 3 DEC - FINAL PUSH 7-8PM

Editorial Services
Manuscript Assessments
Includes a detailed report addressing big picture issues, market readiness and recommendations for moving forward. It does not include a manuscript mark-up.
Developmental/Structural Edit
A big picture summary of what you need to do to make your story work. It breaks issues down into the key components around character, structure, plot, plausibility etc. And includes a manuscript mark-up.
Mentoring
One-on-one mentoring packages with Nicole, in person or online. Format can be customised to your needs, but can involve career advice, writing feedback, goal setting, and craft-focussed advice.
